Our Mission

Helping Girls Heal, Grow & Shine

Beautiful I Am Foundation, Inc. (BIA) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping our girls heal from past and present circumstances, empowering them to understand that their current situation does not define their future.

A Note From Our Founder

Kimberly Douglas, MBA

President & founder

Beautiful I Am Foundation was born from a deeply personal place. I remember being that young girl who struggled with self-esteem — questioning my worth and wondering if I was ever truly enough. But along my journey, I was blessed with incredible women who spoke life into me, who saw something in me before I could see it in myself. They reminded me that I was worthy, capable, and created with purpose — and that changed everything.

Today, my heart is to give that same gift to our girls. This work is more than a program — it's legacy. My mother, an educator, believed deeply in the power of building confidence in young people and helping them realize they could become anything they set their minds to. I carry that vision forward through this foundation, creating a space where our girls are nurtured, encouraged, and empowered to see their beauty, embrace their worth, and walk boldly in their purpose.

Originally from the Washington, DC area, I am a proud graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, and I earned my MBA from Western Governors University in 2019. Beautiful I Am Foundation exists so that every girl we serve will know — without question — that she is seen, she is valued, and she is enough.
